Sales / SBU AME / Service Sales / Commercial Solutions

The Customer Solutions team works as a “sub unit” within the Service Sales department engaging customers to sell the long-term Vestas Service experience. They handle customer advocacy. This is a high impact role with a great ability to positively impact business, technical and operational issues for the customer.



  • Drive issue resolution for escalated issues on day-to-day basis. Including recording, tracking information, communicating with customers, and managing priorities with internal Subject Matter Experts
  • Support Service Sales to maintain relationships with existing customers and keep issues from impacting commercial conversations. Alert Service Sales Leaders where contractual items are providing issues/risk to Vestas
  • Coordinate and prepare business review presentations for key accounts
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to directly impact customer satisfaction targets


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience; wind turbine technical background preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas customer service, customer service administration or technical sales
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in wind industry



  • Strong communication and Issue resolution skills (oral, written, presentation); active and respectful listener; able to handle complaints and disputes effectively; flexible in dealing with others, Set clear customer expectations
  • Ability to develop and foster relationships within and outside the organization
  • Ability to identify and involve business stakeholders
  • Collaborative team player but able to work independently as needed to get job done;
  • Excellent at organization skills and multi-tasking
  • Creative problem solver; able to think through complex problems, assimilate different inputs and develop clear solutions to complex problems
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills and experience
