Department:

The Financial Solutions department is a global department within the Vestas organization. We create business value by providing high-quality Financial Solutions, both for Onshore and Offshore renewable energy solutions. We continuously aim at being a High Value Adding department actively supporting Sales, Service and Global Development through the development of innovative solutions for implementing Vestas' strategy - and ensuring real business and economic value.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support in maintaining or building relationships to brokers, investment banks, investors, and lenders to understand available financing options

• Maintain or build relationships within the tax equity community and stay on the cutting edge of financial structuring from a tax perspective

• Support our customers in interactions with financial community through the turbine and service sales process and project execution

• Economic viability and scenario calculations including building or adjusting of cash flow models

• Completing qualitative and quantitative analysis of potential Financial Solutions, including risk analysis and preparation of Investment Committees materials for decision process

• Support or arrange financings and financial solutions in selected cases

• Support project M&A in different development stages

Qualifications:

• Bachelors' degree in Economics / Business Administration/ Engineering

• Postgraduate studies (MBA or MSF)

• 5+ years professional experience and proven previous experience in financing or selling of renewable energy projects in the US market

Competencies:

• Solid interest in clean energy infrastructure and sustainable investments

• Solid inquisitive and financial skills with the ability to develop complex financial models

• Highly literate in relevant corporate finance and investment concepts (valuation, accounting, etc.) and understanding of legal aspects relevant to financing and corporate transactions

• Experience handling robust internal & external relationships

• High personal motivation, unsupervised work style, results oriented and able to quickly adjust to changing environments

• Professional commitment to accountability and collaboration, with experiences in large matrix organisations
