The North America Service Operations Support team provides Business Process Expertise to the organization and supports data & systems processes and reporting tools, working closely with global and local stakeholders.  The team builds and maintains databases to support reporting, process control, and master data management and supports end user technicians, managers, planners, and admin staff in the field with SAP, Salesforce and select software tools as subject matter experts (SME).

Responsibilities

  • Business Process Expert and representative to global BPE forum
  • Design and build databases in SQL, MS Access, or Sharepoint for local service operations
  • Maintain accurate and timely data in our management reporting systems by superintending recurring data extractions, transformations, and loads (ETL).
  • Superintend SAP Master Data Management, particularly as regards
    • New site startup and end of contract
    • Turbine characteristics ("As-Is")
    • Custom electronic Service Inspection Forms (eSIF)\
    • Maintenance plans and standard task lists
  • Serve as local implementation lead or liaison to assigned global projects and standing teams, e.g.
    • LEAP service transformation
    • Vestas Online
    • S-BOM
  • Plan and execute local process improvement projects, e.g. CIM case management tool
  • Develop and deploy Winshuttle scripts to automate recurring processes and enable mass maintenance in SAP.
  • Manage weather alert system (WeatherOps) master data, process integration, and support
  • Resolve support tickets in other areas for which he/she is SME
  • Perform ad hoc data extraction and analysis from supported systems

Note:  Responsibilities are shared with other Specialists in the department

 

Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years equivalent professional experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skill, with emphasis on MS Excel - required
  • Experience with data management tools, e.g. MS Access, SharePoint, SQL
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, methodical
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

 

Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Other software programs, and internet research
  • Ability to manage database systems
  • Ability to implement processes to efficiently conduct required administrative duties.
  • Ability to interact frequently with others in a professional, courteous manner
  • Flexibility with daily tasks and changing priorities
