The Parts Sales & Services Team is responsible for the sale of Vestas and Multibrand spare parts for all customers in the USA and Canada.  This role is on a growing team that is an ever increasingly component of Vestas' overall revenue as the company seeks to strengthen its Service business and expand into the support of multibrand turbines. In the role, the candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of Vestas and customer stakeholders.

It is a fast-paced, transactionally demanding team that handles a large volume of customer requests and works closely with Tech Support, Operations, Supply Chain, and Accounting to deliver good results to Vestas' customers.


  • Serves as primary customer contact point for Aftermarket materials and services order administration. Ensures fulfillment of ongoing customer needs by maintaining a current understanding of customer business needs by building relationships. Manages customer orders and determines best course of action to meet customer needs and fulfill orders
  • Drives growth of existing, as well as new customers, by leveraging parts consumption and sales analytics to identify specific opportunities for growth across Vestas and other wind turbine manufacturers spare parts
  • Uses Vestas’ SAP system to develop quotes for customer orders considering customer details, current commercial circumstances, and order algorithms within SAP. Manages timely processing of time and material work and spare parts sales and returns, maintaining organized records of all order activity
  • Supports the Account management structure through the administration of spare parts sales agreements
  • Researches customer materials requests and works with procurement specialists to determine the most appropriate part number and procurement method
  • Partners closely with the Central Parts Warehouse, Procurement, and/or remote sites to determine inventory availability and develops forecasting and planning strategies to support the requirements of the North American marketplace
  • Supports Service Sales Account Managers in achieving sales targets by providing insight into and analysis of customer buying behavior and opportunity for sales growth based on turbine portfolio as well as assisting in the development of engagement strategy


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Min 3-5 years of experience in similar function preferably within one or more of the following areas: customer service; customer order administration; inventory management; sales planning, business development, and technical sales
  • A deep knowledge of GE, Siemens/Gamesa, or Suzlon parts a plus
  • High skill level with ERP system and SAP experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including strong capabilities with Microsoft Excel software
  • Fundamental knowledge of ground and air freight operations preferred


  • Strong developed organizational and influence skills with a demonstrated sales acumen
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make business case comparisons for internal and external presentation
  • Ability to perform under high pressure and dynamic work environment managing multiple deliverables
  • Communication- Strong verbal and written communication skills required (deliver responsive, thorough, and effective customer service in handling customer questions, requests for quotes, processing of customer orders, order follow-up, and issue resolution)
