Service Communications Professional

The Service Communications Professional at Vestas has an integral part in orchestrating seamless communication, organizational support, and efficient operations within the North American Service Organization. This role blends strategic administrative support, internal communications, creativity, and project management to ensure alignment with business goals, enhance the stakeholder experience, and connect employees.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Communications & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to advance organizational goals and oversee cross functional projects aimed at improving the experience of our service employees and driving a positive safety record
  • Develop and implement comprehensive & creative internal communications strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Coordinate with key internal stakeholders across the regional Service organization to create an editorial calendar for key communications with a primary focus on site-level information and initiatives
  • Manage and maintain communication platforms/tools to ensure accessibility and effectiveness
  • Facilitate communication flow between Service Leadership Team, managers, and field employees.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of internal communications initiatives, gathering feedback and metrics to continuously improve strategies and messaging effectiveness
  • Help develop and execute compelling and engaging contest for internal communication channels including videos, presentations, emails, and virtual events
  • Closely collaborate with the regional marketing and communications team as well as global stakeholders

 Operational Support & Project Oversight

  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for executive meetings
  • Develop communications and presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Conduct research and data analysis and provide recommendations on key business initiatives and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee critical projects and programs, ensuring timely execution and completion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1+ years of communications experience
  • A highly creative mindset; the ability to think conceptually and strategically
  • Comprehensive project management skills; the ability to handle multiple diverse priorities and programs at any given time
  • Ability to work with diverse cultures and time zones
  • An ability to develop relationships and work with employees at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Proficient in creating compelling messaging and content development
  • High-quality written and verbal communication and presentation skills with solid ability to characterize complex ideas into compelling corporate messaging
  • Ability to travel as business demands
  • Drivers’ license and ability to obtain a passport is required

Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly, courteously and professionally and in technical and non-technical terms in English to various internal stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to engage and support an executive-level leadership team
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of projects and flexibility in handling changing priorities and tasks
  • Ability to interpret and present information effectively to various stakeholders
