Senior Specialist - Pre-Owned and Repowering

Being a new position, the Senior Specialist Pre-Owned and Repowering will be responsible to lead our North American activities in a new and growing business area around repowering and pre-owned WTGs.

This includes the following activities:

· Develop, originate, assess and prioritize business opportunities for pre-owned WTGs and repowering in North America

· Collect and formulate customer and market requirements and promote your ideas to influence the development of technical solutions and concepts (e.g. for refurbishment)

· Establish and maintain network of relevant potential suppliers and partners in North America

· Promote commercial growth by structuring and overseeing deals until contract closure in close collaboration with the account managers

· Support the operations team during project execution to ensure customer satisfaction

· Collaborate closely with a global team of pre-owned WTG specialists to promote the commercial development and achievements of this business area



As the ideal candidate, you have substantial prior "hands-on" experience in the wind industry from an OEM, Owner/Operator or ISP, where you worked with wind farm construction and/or project execution, for instance as construction or project manager or service area manager.

Further qualifications include:

· Prior experience in commercial, customer facing roles;

· Experience working with high commercial/planning complexity, such as in new market entry or new product introduction, and working with problem-solving tools;

· Participation in large investment projects and experience working with project management tools;

· Engineering background, although this is not a formal requirement



· Solid commercial acumen and motivation to achieve commercial success

· Practical, hands-on and problem-solving approach, results oriented

· Able to achieve effective results working in a multinational matrix organization with stakeholders from diverse background and cultures

· Structured and self-motivated

· Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills


Main KPI’s

· Sales performance of Pre-Owned WTGs, incl. adjacent service contracts

· Delivery performance of the projects sold

· Time-to-market for new solutions and concepts

· Supply chain readiness, incl. availability of WTGs and delivery partners
