The Senior Manager, Service Delivery is accountable to secure that the quality and cost of the materials delivered across the value chain are in accordance to the service business rules.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships; be the link between local SCO and regional operational stakeholders including Service, Sales, Construction, Aftermarket, Transport, Technology and Sourcing.
  • Build and maintain understanding of the complete value chain and related business processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional commercial forums addressing local key accounts, customers, vendors, emerging markets, service offerings, contract preparation. 
  • Be the regional anchor point for process and system improvements across the value chain; supporting regional head of functions (Order Handling & Procurement, Warehouse Operations, Service, Construction, Sales, and Aftermarket).
  • Ensure a solid alignment between the teams in Sales, Inventory & Operational Planning (SI&OP), the regional Supply Chain Operations and the Service Business Units (SBUs) by following standardized processes, using official tools and following the SCO governance model across the value chain.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on the delivery and operational performance of the regional SCO unit based on the requirements in the business rules and operating level agreements.
  • Understand the End-to-End value chain, participate in regular regional performance review meetings, identify and direct performance improvement initiatives and take firm actions to mitigate the risks of delivery delay in coordination with SI&OP and the regional SCO teams responsible for the various parts of the delivery.
  • Act as change management agent for the functional business line to realize the fruitful introduction and sustainability within the associated operation. (add into responsibilities, but don’t be redundant)
  • Maintain periodic and formal governance with all required stakeholders to ensure a regular update of important activities, initiatives and daily management board KPIs.
  • Facilitate and participate in root cause analysis on all areas of operational targets, tactical and strategic; Identify, Initiate and move mitigating & corrective actions across functional groups. 
  • Initiate and propel improvement plans to correct operational performance deviations towards specific KPI targets.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of the performance of the regional SCO units as well as the processes used in the deliveries, as part of the Strategy Deployment initiatives.
  • Champion key initiatives to build / transform capability within the functional area that are fundamental to business success including areas of safety performance, execution excellence, cost reduction, value delivery and cycle time improvements; development and implementation will often involve cross-functional participation within the organization. 
  • Guide, facilitate and implement projects and Kaizen Events.
  • Direct projects requiring cross functional support and improve functional requirements addressing barriers and leveraging new discoveries / opportunities to realize highly-effective solution.
  • Supervise stakeholders to identify project expectations, success metrics, and project status. 
  • Set and propel local Daily Management Boards and business rules alignment; define and support performance follow-up.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years in supply chain including cross-functional process improvement and cross-functional stakeholder management position with project management experience.

  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal·      
  • Proven experience defining project goal and success metrics, and execution of the projects.
  • Open-minded and able to work in a team either as a team leader or team member and to arrange group work.
  • Goal-oriented individual with a motivated mindset, who thrives on taking on responsibility and achieving results as part of a team.
  • Effective use of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen methodologies and tools.
  • Proven ability to achieve high level results through on-going organizational and business systems development using an effective change management and continuous improvement methodology.
  • Ability to function effectively in time-sensitive situations and in environments of rapid change and conflicting demands. 
  • Ability to simplify complex tasks yet maintain a focus on safety and quality.
  • Ability to develop and give effective presentations within and outside of the unit.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in standard data analytical tools such as Excel, Access, and SQL (Marco’s level preferred)
  • Proficient in SAP Sales Distribution and Materials Management modules
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills required (level of communication within company – with team, stakeholders, all levels, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Project Management software encouraged
