Repower Proposal Development Specialist - Remote

Your Responsibilities: As a Proposal Development Specialist, you'll be instrumental in crafting comprehensive repower proposals to meet our customers' evolving needs. Your role will involve:

• Developing detailed cost models, bills of materials, and project schedules for complex component repower projects.
• Overseeing the preparation of bid proposal paperwork in accordance with RFP specifications to guarantee coherent messaging and organization.
• Participating in pre-proposal decision-making efforts and conducting post-proposal debriefing analysis.
• Soliciting and obtaining quotes for various project components and coordinating with procurement.
• Connecting with target turbine platform owners to present Vestas' repower product offering and qualify candidate projects.

Your Qualifications: We're looking for candidates with:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience with wind turbine major correctives projects, estimating strategies, and cost control.
• Familiarity with standard construction industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Proficient in partnership with interdisciplinary teams and adept at handling urgent, evolving situations.
• Location: Portland, Oregon Metro area preferred, but this position could be remote as well. 

Competencies: In addition to the qualifications above, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience with wind turbine service, repair, or major corrective work.
• Proficient in articulating technical concepts through both written and verbal means with clarity.
• A commitment to professionalism, timeliness, and quality in all responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and flexibility in adapting to changing priorities.
