Service Spare Parts Field Materials Coordination

This position is responsible for customer-specific spare parts order management to support turbine operations, resolving customer issues and acting as first point of contact to the field for supply chain management. The Supply Chain Coordinator: Field Materials is focused on key customer support to enable commercial operations. This position must ensure Supply Chain Operations is meeting delivery targets and provides analysis and customer feedback to procurement, forecasting, engineering, and warehousing to ensure critical customer spare parts needs are met.

The role will report to the Service Delivery Manager, AME



• Act as the primary point of contact to designate-customer Service site stakeholders for spare parts.

• Responsible for "Down Turbine" order management, communication, and results - High Urgency. Facilitate calls with Field Support Coordinators, Planners, and Stockkeepers.

• Interface with site managers and SBU management. Ensure clear communication of expectations and opportunities of both service sites and supply chain.

• Provide customer support by following up on orders to optimize delivery to the customer. Work with limited supervision to determine urgent expediting requirements.

• Monitor daily supply chain health reports for critical sites, including Zero bin, Fill Rate, Service Order monitoring vs stocking plan.

• Monitor delivery note creation and warehouse reporting to ensure same day shipment to meet agreed delivery expectations.

• Evaluate order volumes to make improvement recommendations, including stocking levels, forecast updates, and technical improvement candidates.

• Engage technical resources to identify issue resolution. Liaison with Operations Engineering and Service Site personnel.

• Engage local Warranty implementation management and global spares inventory planning to adjust forecasts to support upcoming Warranty implementation management requirements and execution schedules.

• Keep work instructions up-to-date, schedule training and re-training as required.

• Develop and report on team metrics (On-time delivery, Overdue)



Qualifications Required• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field with emphasis in business analytics, statistics, supply chain, accounting or equivalent experience.

• 3 or more years of experience in a customer service/sales function.

• 1 or more years Supply Chain experience.

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, SAP experience preferred.

• APICS CPIM certification desirable.

• Proficient at Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.

• Lean training



• Highly motivated with demonstrated accountability and ownership.

• Solid methodical and strategic thinking.

• Logistics/Supply Chain Management Knowledge.

• Great communication skills, both written and verbal, highly motivated initiator, and can build relationships.

• Ability to establish cross-functional relationships in a global matrix organization.

• Able to work flexible hours occasionally.

• Proven ability to achieve high-level results through continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.

• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and demonstrated ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects.
