This position is part of a team focused on spare parts and repairs for the AME Vestas organization, to deliver efficient parts strategy, improving cost, quality and on-time delivery.

 

Responsibilities

• Own Service delivery performance: obtain monthly forecast inputs from all segments of regional Service business (Service sites, Construction, and Parts, Repair & Upgrades sales)

• Improve forecast accuracy by developing processes and actions based on monthly review and analysis of measurements, dashboards, and tools• Drive monthly regional forecast sign-off cadence by Service Business Unit (SBU) and Supply Chain Management

• Upload consolidated forecasts into global market intelligence tools according to monthly timeliness of global SIOP E2E program cycle

• Educate internal customers to develop and report information on expected consumption increases to set Re-Order Points

• Establish recurring check-ins with service sites & planners to understand schedule changes, upcoming events, emerging trends, etc..

• Partner with Construction, Technical Support and Operational Readiness organizations to improve forecast accuracy on new turbine versions

• Develop forecasting methods with Aftermarket & parts Repairs & Upgrades team in support of current & anticipated opportunities.

• Engage with Business Improvement programs including New Site Start-Up, Performance Optimization, and Platform Calls to adjust forecasts to support key initiatives

• Evaluate spikes in demand to understand drivers and determine where forecast changes or other mitigations are required

• Channel new part requests and new repair loop requests to appropriate departments

• Coordinate with Procurement and Regional Support Engineering to adjust forecasts in support of cost-out and business improvement initiatives

• Engage local CIM management and global SIOP to adjust forecasts to support upcoming CIM requirements and execution schedules

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Business-related field with emphasis in business analytics, statistics, supply chain, accounting or 5-10 years of equivalent experience.

• Proficient at Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.

• Experience with SAP required, and Business Intelligence reporting tools.

• 2 years of experience with PTC-Servigistics, Baxter or similar spare parts planning tools

• This position located in Portland, OR, or Houston, TX

o Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple, competing priorities
