Description of work to be performed:

 

Supervise the prioritization, development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Blade Engineering function to optimize turbine component reliability and cost. Supervise and coordinate a highly skilled and committed team of Engineers focused on ensuring the reliability of wind turbine components. Engage and influence internal, external, local, and global stakeholders to take appropriate action to improve overall reliability and customer satisfaction. Support business case creation, validation, and escalation of solution development and upgrades associated with wind turbine components. Write, review, or present technical reports, presentations, and customer communications to internal, external, local, and global stakeholders.

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree related experience is required. The position also requires experience with all of the following:  5 years of technical leadership experience; 5 years of blades engineering experience. Telecommuting accepted. Travel Requirement: 25-30% of travel. 40 hrs/wk, 8:00am-5:00pm, M-F
