• Collect, input, maintain and audit employee pay data in our Payroll System of record (UKG)

• Enter pending adjustments for payroll process Calculate final PTO payments Review and address

errors in the automated transfer file from our HR System of record (Success Factors, SAP)

• Assist with biweekly payroll processing for multiple pay groups (6 US pay groups, 2 Canadian pay

groups), total 5000+ employees

• Process timely missing and final payments per state guidelines

• Assist our P&C Generalists with employee inquiries through our Service Now system or by phone/skype

• Partner with our third-party tax Vendor (UKG) to organize, process, and pay our state

and federal tax notices

• Participate in Payroll projects to include development of business processes and procedures in line

with our motivation towards simplification and continuous improvement

• Develop training materials around new or evolving processes

• Assist in the evolving development of Success Factors and the Success Factors/UKG interface

• Assist in the yearly bonus and merit cycle (including auditing payroll data)

• All other tasks as assigned.



• Associates degree or equivalent combination of experience/education

• 2 years of payroll processing or equivalent work (Account Payable/Accounts Receivable, data entry)



Essential Functions:

• Regular and enthusiastic attendance

• Required to work every Monday & Tuesday of a payroll week including holidays which occur on a biweekly basis

• Ability to exercise high levels of confidentiality and discretion

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

• Ability to be detail oriented and have accuracy with data entry input

• Ability to work effectively with others in a professional, courteous manner

• Accurate data entry

• Demonstrated computer skills (e-mail, database creation and entry, spreadsheets, word processing,


• Efficient organization and follow-up skills

• Action oriented, focused and problem solver

• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; handle competing demands and is able to deal

with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
