The Service Operations Support (SOS) function plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our wind turbine fleet across the South Africa and MENA regions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Technical Planners, Special Service Task Coordinators, and Master Schedulers
  • Manage effective planning and scheduling activities to optimize workforce utilization and reduce maintenance backlogs
  • Support field operations by ensuring the right resources, skills, and materials are available
  • Monitor and report on operational KPIs and PPIs
  • Ensure alignment with Vestas' global operating model
  • Implement business improvements and best practices
  • Contribute to regional technical and commercial planning strategies
  • Develop team capability and performance
  • Ensure adherence to service delivery targets and safety requirements
  • Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives
  • Collaborate with Area Management and stakeholders to reach regional objectives
  • Promote operational excellence and customer satisfaction

 

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
  • Experience in technical planning, scheduling, and operational support
  • Wind energy industry experience is advantageous
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP, Salesforce, or similar systems
  • Advanced written and spoken English
