A DAY IN THE LIFE 
In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather.  At this site near Pincher Creek, AB, you will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day. You also will have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends). This team could spend up to 15% of their working hours in a year working to help out at other site locations. The site here normally works in teams of 2-3 and typically will climb 1-2 turbines a day. This site has great opportunities to be able to grow within Vestas. This location is great for outdoor recreation enthusiasts offering skiing, fishing, and mountains.
 
MORE ABOUT YOU 
✓ You will need a safety-focused mindset  
✓ Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks
✓ You can identify solutions to issues with process of elimination
✓ You will have a High School diploma or equivalent and will bring either wind experience, wind schooling and/or 1-2 years of transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background
