The team is part of the Travel & Expense Team in Global Finance at the Vestas Shared Services Centre.

As part of Vestas Global Finance Shared Service Centre, the team is primarily responsible for providing standardized, rule-based services to the region. This refers to the end-to-end processes of Travel & Expenses. Collaborates with Regional Finance, Treasury, and other SSC functions to resolve issues and concerns efficiently and within required deadlines.

 

The position is mainly responsible for ensuring that Travel & Expenses are timely and accurately processed and cleared. This role is on a global scale, which would require close working relationships with various regional finance teams, line of business, and Vestas employees to ensure optimal resolutions of issues.

 

Finance SSC > Global Travel Expense > Global Travel and Expense NCE and VWS

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the end-to-end process of Travel and Expense to efficiently close items and properly address issues, if encountered
  • Fully execute Travel and Expense processing in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Standard Operating Procedures
  • Engage and collaborate with Vestas employees, Regional Finance, Treasury, Global Sourcing, and other business stakeholders to resolve operational issues efficiently and with high quality
  • Adherence, performance, and documentation of related Controls (if any), and ensure that these are being done with utmost quality at a prescribed timing
  • Participate in further improvement and optimization of Travel and Expense processes and procedures in Finance and Accounting
  • Perform accrual accounting and other month-end activities (as necessary), ensuring data integrity
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports, accompanying schedules, and specifications
  • Perform analytical review to ensure achievement of KPIs and PPIs for the specific function assigned
  • Assists in developing training plans and knowledge sharing with team members

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/University Degree in Business Studies, Finance, or Management; Accountancy graduate
  • Fresh graduates/professionals with at least one (1) to four (4) years of working experience in the same field
  • With BPO/Shared Service experience

 

Competencies

  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good in MS Office applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Flexible and willing to work on holidays as needed and on any shift as may be assigned
  • Demonstrates professionalism and a cooperative demeanor. Can blend well with different kinds of personalities
  • Knowledge in using ERP systems - SAP.
