The team is under the Travel & Expense Team of Global Finance of the Vestas Shared Services Centre.

As part of Vestas Global Finance Shared Service Centre, the team is primarily responsible for providing standardized, rule-based services to the region. This refers to the end-to-end processes of Travel & Expenses. Proactively works with Regional Finance, Treasury and other SSC functional areas to ensure issues and concerns are addressed positively and in accordance with prescribed deadlines. The position is mainly responsible for ensuring that Travel & Expenses are timely and accurately processed and cleared. This role is on a global scale, which would require close working relationships with various regional finance teams, lines of business, and Vestas employees to ensure optimal resolutions of issues.

 

Finance SSC > Global Travel Expense > Global Travel and Expense NCE and VWS

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the end-to-end process of Travel and Expense in order to efficiently close items and properly address issues, if encountered
  • Fully execute Travel and Expense processing in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Standard Operating Procedures
  • Proactively engage and collaborate with Vestas' employees, Regional Finance, Treasury, Global Sourcing, and other business stakeholders, in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality
  • Adherence, performance, and documentation of related Controls (if any) and ensure that these are being done with utmost quality at a prescribed timing
  • Participate in further improvement and optimization of Travel and Expense processes, procedures in Finance and Accounting
  • Perform accrual accounting and other month-end activities (as necessary) ensuring data integrity
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports and accompanying schedules and specifications
  • Perform analytical review to ensure achievement of KPIs and PPIs for the specific function

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/University Degree, Business Studies/Finance/Management, preferably Accountancy graduate
  • Fresh graduates/Professionals with at least one (1) to four (4) years of working experience in the same field
  • BPO/Shared Service experience is beneficial

 

Competencies

  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good in MS Office applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Flexible and willing to work on holidays as needed and, on any shift, as may be assigned
  • Possesses positive behavior and attitude. Can blend well with different kinds of personalities
  • Knowledge of using ERP systems - SAP Concur is beneficial
