The Global Finance Process Specialist (BPS) position has the responsibilities and qualifications defined as follows:
Responsibilities:
- Ensure finance processes are well‑documented and accurately reflect how Finance operates in practice.
- Partner with the Global Finance Process Owners (GFPO) to support the implementation of new and amended financial processes globally.
- Work closely with the finance community to improve processes, making them more efficient, consistent, and simple across the organization.
- Integrate internal controls, financial guidelines, and global policies into finance processes to ensure compliance and a “right-first-time” approach.
- Drive improvements in efficiency, consistency, and standardization of financial processes and controls. Incorporate recommendations from audits to strengthen processes and governance.
- Enhance Finance’s understanding of process requirements by driving awareness and engagement through user forums and other communication channels.
- Ensure process maps and SOPs are up to date and documented according to Vestas Document Management Systems (DMS), Vestas Process Portal (VPP/ARIS).
- Ensure proper governance and quality of process documentation, including regular reviews and compliance with the annual update cycle.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelor’s or Master's degree within Finance, Controlling or similar from a good University
- Approximately 5 years' work experience from finance in an international company
- Certified Public Accountant is an advantage
- “Process excellence”, “Quality assurance”, “Applying Process data analytics”, “Applying Lean and Six sigma to financial processes” is an advantage
- Experience with Finance Process mapping and improvements is an advantage
- Strong knowledge and experience within SAP S/4HANA are required
- Ability to assess risks on a given process and suggest value adding control activities to reduce risks to an acceptable level is a requirement
- Experience with Business/Financial controlling in complex environments is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English is a requirement
- Good Stakeholder Management skills
- Ability to execute end to end process mapping workshops with line of business
