Senior Finance Analyst

Finance SSC, Controlling & Reporting. The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Company's Financial Guidelines while securing engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project or Group stakeholders and make sure that the financial activities-driven decisions are taken on a good financial business case which can and will be followed upon.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for complex accounting and financial analysis. Prepares reports efficiently and effectively utilizing advanced technical financial knowledge
- Prepares and reviews complex standard and responds to ad-hoc requests for analytics and to provide support for business profitability, case preparation, and investigation into financial performance, and are key in enabling decision support
- Ensuring that management reporting for actuals, budgets/forecast, controls, inventory reconciliation processes, and accrual management is in place and is working in preparation for SOX compliance and internal and external reporting readiness
- Responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining efficient and cost-effective process controls
- Engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders, in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any Accounting or Finance courses
- At least 4 to 6 years of work experience in Controlling & Reporting or equivalent finance function
- With solid analytical skills relevant in financial analysis
- Task-oriented with a motivated approach; versatile in a complex, intense and time-sensitive environment
- Knowledge in using ERP System. Experience in SAP is beneficial
- Experience in project construction or manufacturing accounting is beneficial
- Good communication and presentation skills
- BPO/Shared Service experience is beneficial
- Flexible in work shifting schedules
Competencies
- Exposure to data quality management and keen on accounting details, MEND (Month End Close) reconciliation and data analysis. Mend reporting and issue management
- Knowledge in Accounting Estimates and Revenue Recognition, particularly Completed Construction Method (CCM) and Percentage of Completion Method (POC)
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Excel. Macros is an asset
- Efficient documentation and process mapping experience
- Has adeptness in learning new and complex processes for migration
- Detail-oriented and able to perform under stressful circumstances
- Proficient in communication, stakeholder management and business partnering
- Has a continuous improvement mindset in terms of process, and continuously aspires for professional growth
