Finance SSC, Controlling & Reporting. The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Company's Financial Guidelines while securing proactive engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project or Group stakeholders and makes sure that the financial activities-based decisions are taken on a good financial business case which can and will be followed upon.

Responsibilities

  • To perform complex accounting and financial analysis. Prepares reports efficiently and effectively utilizing advanced technical financial knowledge
  • To implement the relevant controlling tasks fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Financial Guidelines
  • To ensure that process controls are implemented and applicable compliance requirements are in place
  • To perform timely monthly closing procedures such as inventory valuation, factory/project performance reports, and analysis, cost of poor quality, slow-moving stock, and reclassification of indirect production cost to inventory
  • To perform standard and ad-hoc analytics reports to assess business profitability, and factory financial performance that are key in enabling business decisions
  • To identify, suggest, and implement improvement on current tasks and participate in Global optimization
  • Proactively engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders, in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality
  • To act as person-in-charge of a team and supervise the team, if needed

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any Accounting or Finance courses
  • Preferably with certifications (i.e. CPA, CMA, CIA, etc.)
  • At least 4 to 6 years of work experience in Controlling & Reporting or any equivalent finance functions
  • With good analytical and relevant financial analysis skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in using ERP (SAP) systems is beneficial
  • Experience in project construction or manufacturing accounting is desired
  • BPO/Shared Service experience provides a benefit
  • Flexible in work-shifting schedules

  • With comprehensive analytical and relevant financial analysis skills
  • Has an understanding and can interpret financial actuals vs. forecast/budget
  • Has strong agility to learn new and complex processes for migration
  • Knowledgeable in process documentation, simplification, and standardization
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in an intensive environment
  • Excellent in communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering
  • With solid organizational and prioritization skills
  • Has a continuous improvement mindset in terms of process and continuously aspires to professional growth
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge of using ERP (SAP) systems (preferred)
  • With leadership traits and can supervise other finance professionals
