You will join the Digitalization & Automation Solutions department and collaborating with one of our Digital Product Teams within the Idea to Market & Order to Delivery domain, specifically covering Procurement, Quality, HSE & Sustainability in the Digital Technology Solutions. In this product area, we drive down cost, improve supplier collaboration and manage procurement risk through the development, deployment and anchoring of digital procurement solutions together with our business partners, focusing on effective adoption to ensure that tools and processes are used as intended to deliver value.
Responsibilities
The main purpose of this position is to support Digital Procurement products and day-to-day handling of the L1/ L2 technical incidents, ensuring smooth operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of procurement systems such as SAP Ariba, ECC or similar platforms, reporting to Procurement System Support Team Manager. The Senior Analyst works with Digital Procurement Product owners, Direct/Indirect procurement buyers, Purchasers & Sourcing responsible to support system bugs/errors or route enhancement requests from line of business in the production system such as SAP Ariba, Go Buy and Ariba buyer network. The successful person must be a self-starter and could work on their own with Digital Procurement Product Owners, Line of Business and technical teams. It's key that they could build up relationships with the business and gain credibility and respect to fully engage the business users in the Procurement operations.
Detailed knowledge on SAP Ariba is of course essential.
The role requires a hybrid work setup, with a requirement to report to the office a certain number of days per month. The specific number of in-office days will be discussed during the hiring process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide support for the SAP Ariba cloud solution, focusing primarily on Procure-to- Pay processes within the SAP Ariba Business Network & Supply Chain Collaboration modules
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the integration between SAP Ariba and SAP ECC, particularly in the areas of Sourcing, Contracting, Order collaboration & Supplier Quality modules
- Primarily responsible for supporting the Procurement and Supply Chain Planning Systems, Tools and other platforms (e.g., SAP ECC, S4/Hana, Ariba)
- Act as a liaison between end users & suppliers to ensure smooth communication & issue resolution
- Review & assess existing and proposed system solutions and business processes recommending and implementing in both process and technology to effectively address business challenges
- Analyze and resolve complex integrated system issues within agreed SLAs by collaborating with relevant colleagues & business stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality solutions
- Design Ariba reports & dashboards to provide better visibility into key business processes
- Develop tests for Sap Ariba modules, components, and sub-components performing post-implementation analysis throughout the system landscape to ensure accuracy in areas affected by system development.
- Evaluate new updates released by SAP Ariba
- System Triage for emails/tickets raised and identify level of support needed based on criticality (for instance., L1/L2 incidents)
- Daily monitoring: System integration errors (failed PO, iDoc errors, etc) and coordinate with business to correct the error
- Catalogue management support (with Purchasers Punch out & Dynamic catalogue (with Suppliers) - enable punch out catalogue; includes creation, loading, testing, etc)
- Workflows/Approval/Tasks assigned to system support (edit/delete etc)
- Assist in catalogue testing, documentation, and implementation in production system
- Train end-users on system functionality and create/maintain user guides or SOPs.
- Conduct training sessions for new users and refresher training for existing users on tools like Guided Buying, Ariba spend mgmt etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in Ariba P2P, Guided Buying, Ariba Network (supplier, buyer side) and should also have an in-depth understanding of integration with downstream systems & support model
- Deep understanding of SAP Ariba from a configuration standpoint
- Working knowledge of Systems integration points for SAP Ariba
- Significant Data analysis & process mapping skills
- Knowledge or experience in Ariba upstream modules
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Flexible to work in roster shift schedules
Competencies
- Working knowledge in ServiceNow - Incident Response and Resolution/Incident Management
- Strong knowledge in SAP ECC, Ariba
- Exposure to S4 HANA, SAP-EPD (Enterprise Product Development) will be an added advantage
- Detail-oriented and able to perform in a demanding environment
- Proficient in MS Office, communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering
- Has a continuous improvement mindset in terms of process and continuously aspires for professional growth
- Ability to coordinate complex priorities and meet deadlines
- Proactive and Proven ability to work independently and in teams
