Senior Analyst (Procurement and Supply Chain)

You will be part of Supply and Market Analytics supporting the Global Procurement teams on analysis related to profitability, improving cash flow and spending data, as well as deep dive and insight generation on Procurement operations' metrics and performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier exploration (from supplier search, screening, and price analysis) to support local content requirements.
• Work with a cross-functional team to identify potential suppliers in a new market.
• Maintain the data quality of reporting tools in the SAC/ PowerBI tool.
• Collaborate with procurement category teams and supply chain in creating transparency around capacity assurance and risk management.
• Drive for continuous improvements by improving the current state, optimizing processes, and utilizing the capabilities to secure high-quality standards for procurement operations
• Develop and maintain report templates to ensure appropriate tracking and monitoring of KPI's as well as provide initial insights on the reports.
• Coordinate key metrics and provide analysis and insights as well as comprehensive reporting and dashboards; conduct analysis of data sets and derive fact-based recommendations
• Automate reporting tools by way of macros, SQL database, SAP Universe, etc.

Qualifications

• Relevant business, engineering or computer science degree.
• With at least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement functions
• Experience with Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud or similar is beneficial
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel incl. VBA, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Good investigative skills including the ability to assess and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with situations creatively, and achieve business-focused solutions
• Good organizational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritize, balance responsibilities, achieve business goals, perform, and always work with a customer-focused approach
• Good English written and verbal communication skills and ability to speak with conviction
• Skilled in stakeholder management and with engaging communication skills at all levels
• Independent and can work with minimal supervision
