Describe the Department

We, as the Global IT organization, are accountable for digitalizing our operations by enabling the business to harvest Vestas´ know-how throughout the value chain, while focusing on E2E synergies. Joining our growing team will provide opportunity to influence the fundamental shifts that we intend to take.

Reporting to the Salesforce Competency & Delivery department, which is responsible for advising our Business Units on technology that supports Commercial and Service processes. We are currently building up multiple agile product teams with innovative people who are always ready to share knowledge as we work together. With our main tool, Salesforce, we solve complex business challenges effectively and provide seamless service to our internal stakeholders. What you can take for granted is a challenging backlog of business and technical requirements that we need to incorporate into our offerings, commitment towards delivering the state-of-the art, and strong mandate in developing best-in-class solutions.

Responsibilities

Your primary area of responsibility is within technical development and maintenance of our Salesforce solutions. You as a Scrum Master will play an instrumental role and will be responsible for building up agile product teams and ensuring collaboration. As a Scrum Master you also facilitate communication and information exchange between external groups and the product team. You will be responsible to guide the Scrum Teams with the common ways of working.

Therefore, your tasks will entail- Be Agile/SCRUM Process Facilitator & Facilitate Scrum events

• Be the servant leader for the Scrum Teams
• Encourage full participation of team members within their defined roles, responsibilities, and mandate
• Ensure that the Iterative Development process stays in focus by following Scrum
• Ensure compliance with the common ways of working
• Assist Product Owner in product backlog management
• Be overall accountable for the setup in Azure DevOps tool that supports the Scrum Process, i.e. work items being linked, estimated, tagged, named etc. according to agreed standards.
• Monitor progress, create transparency and provide timely feedback
• Enable the team to handle impediments (risks and issues) during Sprints
• Create an environment where team members can support each other to improve and perform.
• Collaborate with other teams and align releases across tracks.
• Develop Scrum competencies in team
• Be the Change agent and promote a culture of agility and learning

Qualifications

We envision that you have

• Experience in Scrum Master role in agile software development for organization(s) with global reach and business criticality with large number of application users- Experience in collaborating with diverse teams to deliver an IT solution, facilitate troubleshooting issues on the way, and align priorities
• Good cultural understanding and international working experience
• Comprehensive Scrum and Agile training
• A relevant degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / IT

Moreover, we envision that you can fulfill some of the following points.

• Experience in working with Salesforce platform
• Previous experience in monitoring and optimizing processes and team collaboration

Competencies

• Scrum Master certification- Azure DevOps or Jira
• Advanced communication skills in English - both written and verbal
• Effective stakeholder management skills
• A skilled networker and able to build, develop and maintain relationships in a global matrix environment
• Approach situations in a pragmatic manner
• Demonstrates initiative and can effectively back up team projects without assistance
• Process oriented and have a structured way of working
• High degree of flexibility and competence
• Take ownership in your assigned responsibilities
