Salesforce E2E Tester

We, as the Salesforce Platform team are responsible for ensuring that the business is enabled to scale through a fit-for-purpose Salesforce backbone. Joining our growing team will provide an opportunity to influence to continuously improve our solutions. Reporting to the Chapter Lead for E2E Testing, you will be part of an agile product team that will deliver to mature and enhance our CRM platform.

Responsibilities

• You will be part of the Salesforce platform team that is responsible for the overall health of the Salesforce application, and ensuring that the product teams have a stable and scalable platform to build on
• You will develop, implement, and sustain test automation processes, practices, and controls in support of application and system requirements, development, and test activities throughout the software development and sustainment lifecycles
• Lead and consult on test automation strategy, requirement, design, implementation, and execution. In this role, you will be required to create high-quality, maintainable, and performance DoE for automated test cases and the frameworks to evaluate and report them

More specifically, your tasks will entail:

• Coordinates, develops, and maintains all test activities
• Writes and executes automated regression tests as needed to provide an ongoing measure of the quality of the product
• Analyzes code coverage using industry-standard tools such as SonarQube
• Ensures automated tests are integrated into the continuous delivery pipeline
• Designs, develops, and maintains automation systems and tools to be used by development and test engineers
• Assists in designing test cases for unit, functional, performance, scalability, and durability testing (where applicable)
• Oversees and grooms the automated and manual test suites regularly to ensure a proper balance between coverage and fast feedback cycles
• Works with IT Partner teams to provide test data by request, creation, or modification for all phases of the delivery process via a repeatable and automated process
• Grows and maintains technical skills and expertise through continuing education and training
• Closely coordinates with both Dev and Ops regarding testing practices and ensuring quality thresholds are met
• Contribute to Designs and Design Reviews
• Contributes to code review

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / IT
• 3+ years of hands-on test experience on the Salesforce platform
• Understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds including B2B Commerce
• Strong JavaScript/Front end Skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to decompose complex problems and perform root cause analysis
• Understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of source code, version management, and code deployment standards
• Hands-on experience with agile issue tracking software such as; ADO or Jira
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as; Provar, Tosca, Selenium, Postman, Cucumber, Jasmin, UTAM, or other test frameworks

• Working Agile and using Scrum
• Previous experience in a multinational organization
• Previous experience in collaborating with diverse teams to deliver an E2E IT solution, troubleshoot issues on the way, and align priorities

Competencies

• Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • Salesforce admin
  • Other certifications:
    • Salesforce Platform Developer 1
    • Salesforce platform app builder
    • ISTQB Foundation Level Certification
• Advanced communication skills in English - both written and verbal
• A skilled networker and able to build, develop, and maintain relationships in a global matrix environment
• Be committed and approach situations in a pragmatic manner
• Take ownership of your assigned responsibilities
• A high degree of flexibility and competence
