Finance SSC, Controlling & Reporting. The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Company's Financial Guidelines while ensuring active involvement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project or Group stakeholders and makes sure that the financial activities-driven decisions are taken on a good financial business case which can and will be followed upon.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for complex accounting and financial analysis. Prepares reports efficiently and effectively utilizing advanced technical financial knowledge
  • Prepares and reviews complex standard and responds to ad-hoc requests for analytics and to provide support for business profitability, case preparation and investigation into financial performance in enabling decision support. Working closely with Finance Business Partner in making informed decisions
  • Responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining efficient and cost-effective process controls
  • Reconcile local financial statements with IFRS standards, ensuring alignment with company and regulatory compliance policies
  • Collaborating closely with different teams in SSC and Global Development to ensure accurate and compliant financial data and operations. Coordinating with external consultants for regulatory compliance
  • Assess major changes in process and operational scopes, which will require cross-function assessment and provide sign-off to close SPV entities during Month-end, Quarter-end, and Year-end

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy
  • At least 5-8 years of work experience in Accounting, Controlling & Reporting, or equivalent finance function
  • With certifications (i.e. CPA, CMA, CIA, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented with effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to prioritize workload and having a motivated outlook; effective at handling complexity in a demanding environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and ERP systems, experience in SAP is beneficial
  • Available to work on holidays as necessary and, on any shift, as may be assigned
  • Good communication and presentation skills

 

Competencies

  • Exposure to data quality management and keen on accounting details, MEND (Month End Close) reconciliation and data analysis. Mend reporting and issue management
  • Knowledge in Accounting Estimates and Revenue Recognition, particularly Completed Construction Method (CCM) and Percentage of Completion Method (POC)
  • Should be an advanced level MS Excel user. Macros is beneficial
  • Efficient documentation and process mapping experience
