SAP Reporting and Analytics Professional

GFRS-FRSA SSC as a department works with various business key stakeholders to identify, scope, develop, and implement solutions, mainly on reporting, dashboarding, and process improvement initiatives produced by insights on data analytics as well as consolidation and EPM tools on the SAP Suite, namely SAP BPC and SAP BI. The department also embraces supporting and providing expertise in the optimization of existing and new solutions delivered, including re-configuration of front-end solutions as well as documentation (where relevant). The department also partners with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in identifying ways to continuously improve existing business processes and solutions in the SAP BPC and BI landscape, in support of related SAP data analytics and Digital Solutions tools.

Responsibilities

• Work mainly to learn and support operational activities, as well as deliver forward ad-hoc requirements coming from business and internally on the SAP BPC Platform, mainly working within the SAP BPC tools such as EPM, Data Manager, and SAP BPC Web

• There will be various opportunities for the candidate to grow in functional knowledge of business processes such as Group Level Reporting and Consolidation, as well as various other financial processes. Equally on the technical side, the candidate would also have opportunities to learn and hone technical skills while handling operational and support tasks on the reporting and analytics platforms, such as supporting MEND, QEND, and YEND activities, as well as other regular tasks

• Opportunities for the candidate to be exposed to interacting and expanding scope through collaborating with colleagues and peers of different levels, from different departments in the Vestas Global Finance organization, as well as other Business Units in the whole Vestas organization

• Support and expertise initiatives enable achievement deliverables, both operational and strategic to learn and gradually mature expertise on Analysis, Development, Configuration, Implementation, Support, and Improvements to Reporting and Analytics solutions on both consolidation and business intelligence systems within Vestas, mainly for the Global and Regional Finance Organization, as well as the Shared Service Center

• The role will also have the opportunity to learn and support ad-hoc requirements on other tools and technologies that the team is supporting, about Reporting and Analytics. This would include familiarizing and providing support through the different intake channels on applications such as Web Reporting (WEBI), Analysis For Office, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Data Analyzer, and SAC Reporting Catalogue, as well as opportunities to learn new upcoming tools in the technology landscape

• Learn to develop clear and concise technical and process documentation, in support of initiatives and activities worked on

• Document knowledgebase articles, create how-to guides or step-by-step notes, and support end users by providing basic training on different aspects of the Reporting and Analytics landscape

Qualifications

• Above Basic to advanced understanding of Finance functional concepts and business processes (FI, SD, COPA, MM, LO, PS, and related modules)

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including Pivots, Formulas, VBA, and Macros etc.

• Basic to advanced understanding and working knowledge user of SAP ECC (ERP Systems)

• Exposure and working knowledge of SAP BPC and Consolidation Tools, such as EPM and Web-based tools 

• Exposure to or basic working knowledge of SAP BI Reports (via Web or Analysis for office)

• Exposure to or basic working knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) on Data Analyzer, Stories, and Reporting Cataglogue

• Advanced technical working knowledge of SAP BPC and EPM tools

• Advanced technical working knowledge of SAP BI Reports (via Web or Analysis) and SAP Analytics Cloud

• Exposure or working knowledge of SAP BI IP and Planning Tools

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Dashboarding as a Viewer or Developer)

• Basic understanding and experience in core SAP BI Reporting Tools: HANA Studio Query Builder, BEX Query Designer, Analysis for Office, WeBI, and SAC would be beneficial

• Basic comprehension of SQL scripts and logic scripting

• Exposure to or working knowledge of MS PowerBI

• Academic degree in Finance, Accountancy, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration or similar
