SAP BPC Specialist

This role will work with various business key stakeholders to analyze, scope, develop, and implement SAP BPC initiatives and configuration with the goal of enabling our business stakeholders to perform reporting and analysis on data, as well as enabling process improvement initiatives utilizing BPC and its tools. This role will also embrace supporting and providing expertise in the optimization of existing and new solutions delivered, including front-end solutions. The role will also be primarily responsible for supporting operational activities and critical business processes relating to BPC. Finally, the role will also be partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in identifying ways to continuously improve existing business processes and solutions in the SAP BPC landscape and its interfaces, also in support of related SAP data analytics and digital solutions tools.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsible for recurring (D>W>M>YE) and operational activities for BPC-related processes

• Support in the development and improvements to the SAP BPC application and its interfaces within the Vestas Global Organization, mainly for the Finance BU and its key stakeholders

• Provide relevant expertise on business processes related to Vestas SAP BPC and related tools to optimize and improve the platform and its services

• Coordinate with BPC Architect on potential system areas of improvement and CI initiatives

• Responsible for concise technical and process documentation (where relevant)

Qualifications
Essential:

• Knowledgeable (user or super user or SME) in any version of SAP BPC (BPC 11.1 NW, BPC 10.1 NW, BPC 10.0 NW, BPC 10.1 MS, BPC 10.0 MS)

• Knowledgeable (user or super user or SME) in any version of EPM Tools, as well as Business Processes and Flows, commonly used in conjunction with the BPC platform and EPM

• Users or Super Users of BPC/EPM in their previous roles (with no formal technical background in BPC), should be open to being upskilled and trained in BPC as well as all relevant tools to perform the role

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including basic working knowledge of Macro VBA

• Knowledgeable in major/critical business processes especially within the Finance area (e.g. accounting, reporting, consolidation, planning, forecasting, cash flows, month-end, etc.)

• Has an academic degree in either Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or similar

• S/4HANA integrations experience

• SAP Analytics Cloud Planning

• SAP Group Reporting

• SAP BI Reporting and Analytics Tools (Webi, Analysis for Office, SAC, etc.)
