The Payments Team is under Global Finance of Vestas Shared Services Centre (SSC), within the Purchase to Pay Department. The P2P department is responsible for Invoice Processing, Issue Resolution, Parked & Blocked, Vendor Reconciliation & Credit Collections. The position will be under the Payments Team, whose mainly responsible for Payment Processing & Bank Reconciliation. The team closely collaborates with Regional Finance, Payroll, Treasury Department, other line of business personnel, and with the other functions in SSC such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Travel & Expense.

 

Purchase to Pay > Global Payments, Credit & Collections, Customer Support > Payments (AME/MED/LAT/Manual Payments)

 

Responsibilities

  • Performs validation of payment requests with the defined and agreed Vestas Standard Operating Procedures
  • Make sure that all requests are compliant with the Manual Payment Policy prior to posting
  • Performs manual payment posting requests
  • Perform analytical review to ensure achievement of KPIs and PPIs for the specific function assigned
  • Ensure standard operating procedures and process manuals are frequently reviewed and updated accordingly
  • Participate in further improvement and optimization of cash management relating to payment processing procedures
  • Engage and collaborate with Regional Finance, Treasury, Global Sourcing, and other business stakeholders, in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/University Degree, Business Studies/Finance/Management, particularly Accounting graduate
  • With at least 2-3 years of working experience in the same field
  • With Shared Service experience
  • Should have experience in using SAP

 

Competencies

  • Ability to build and maintain productive, positive relationships through effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Shows an effective ability to handle one's own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals
  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good in MS Office applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Available and willing to work on holidays as needed and on any shift as may be assigned
  • With a strong work ethic and attitude. Can blend well with different kinds of personalities
  • With knowledge of using ERP Systems
