You will join our Vestas IT/OT Competency Center in Manila. We are accountable for providing IT/OT competencies, services, and support for our Vestas Digital Solutions organization.

This position will direct our IT/OT Integrations capability to bring our solutions to the next level, collaborating with key stakeholders in Global IT and beyond to secure alignment and one Vestas scalable governance which ensures quality in the delivery, safeguarding the existing solutions. You will have the opportunity to work in a complex environment in an instrumental role to achieve goals in the journey that Vestas Digital Solutions is on.

  • Act as a key advisor for the IT/OT Manila Competency Center senior management, supporting them to blueprint a digital operating model (people, processes, technology) that fully supports our Vestas Digital organization to deliver on its vision, catering to the new ways of working (Digital, Agile, DevOps...)
  • Maintain the IT/OT Competency Center operating model lifecycle, continuously evolving it according to our global roadmap with a focus on unleashing more value from our Digital investments for our internal and external customers, delivering services at higher quality with faster time to market and at lower costs
  • Build the bridge across both traditional IT/OT services and business-driven digital services in a hybrid cross-functional set-up (offshore/nearshore/onshore)
  • Understand our business strategy and goals, the Digital capabilities to enable it, and the main value drivers involved
  • Deliver communications to promote our IT Transformation journey, presenting realistic roadmaps
  • Ability to review and provide health checks of our current IT/OT organization's people, processes, and technology within a Digital context
  • Steer and organize consulting engagements involving multiple internal and external IT stakeholders regarding our digital transformation to design how to deliver the To-Be IT/OT competencies (technologies and services), defining the right interfaces among them for seamless collaboration, to maximize business value and scalability
  • Actively support the IT strategic goals by taking part and developing business cases, ROI scenarios, and risk assessments of our IT/OT transformation journey
  • Complete understanding of the organization's business


To succeed with the above responsibilities, we envision that you hold a relevant master's degree (IT, Organizational Management, or similar) combined with the following:

  • A Master´s in Business Administration or equivalent would be valuable
  • Above 5 years of experience from similar position(s), used to supervise strategy tools like SWOT analysis, Benchmarking, Balanced scorecards, Reference modeling, Porter´s Five Forces, Growth Share matrix, Core Competencies, etc.
  • Consulting experience in Digital transformation strategy in an established IT strategy firm or blue-chip organization. Experience in complex transformation projects
  • Experience to deliver IT/OT operating models
  • Knowledge of relevant industries (Oil & Gas, Aerospace, OEMs in the discrete manufacturing industry, Energy...)
  • Experience in complex projects or programs in global reach companies with complex matrix organizations
  • Cross-cultural understanding (DK, IN, PH...)
  • Customer-centric
