Finance Masterdata Professional

The department creatively identifies and mitigates risks to financial reporting. The team's goals are to have internal controls framework in place, ensure mitigation of financial and operational risks, facilitate and support established audit engagements, and create awareness and understanding of compliance policies and controls. This position is a professional and is placed in the Compliance & Operational Control department which is part of Vestas Shared Services A/S - ROHQ under the CFO organization. This position will report to the Head of Compliance in SSC based in Manila. Further, this position will work closely with "Finance Systems, Process & Compliance" and "IT Authorization Compliance" departments based in Denmark for various access management initiatives and projects, and various stakeholders across the organization.

Finance SSC > Compliance & Operational Control > MDM

Responsibilities

• Integral implementation of Finance MDM migration to SAP S4 Hana version, including data clean-up as a prerequisite to data migration

• Help define and coordinate execution of strategy and roadmap for Finance MDM to elevate maturity level and address business needs

• Remediate top-priority MDM issues that is not aligned with the business needs

• Implement preventive measures (framework, controls, workflows, others) to improve data quality

• Lead in the review, RCA, and remediation of defective results in Data Quality System (DQS) report of Finance MDM

• Lead projects and improvement initiatives in Finance MDM

• Identify, review, create and implement policies, processes, and guidelines for finance MDM

• Resolve top priorities structural and MDM object issues. 

• Upskill competencies in Finance, Finance MDM, and related or interconnected processes

• Work closely with MDM governance and Group Finance stakeholders, and the business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or IT or another related field

• At least 3 years of experience in Finance Masterdata processes and 3 years of experience in Project Management, process improvement, and data migration

• Has experience working in a multicultural environment; experience in a shared services environment  

• Has the ability to work with limited to no supervision as well as in a multi-discipline team setting 

• Has the ability to balance responsibilities and work in a cross-functional team 

• For instance, experience in Data Governance and Data Quality

• Has extensive organizational skills and the ability to provide and maintain accurate data

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications particularly MS Excel
