The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Company's Financial Guidelines while securing proactive engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project, or Group stakeholders and makes sure that the financial activities-oriented decisions are taken on a good financial business case that can and will be followed.

 

Controlling and Reporting > Costing and Inventory Controlling > Costing and Inventory Operations

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform product costing for either for Production Business Unit or Sales Business Unit plants and SPR plants
  • Evaluate product cost to ensure correct standard costs are produced. Perform group costing and transfer pricing activities and participate in the set-up of costing and resolution of related issues
  • Attend and resolve tickets/requests received related to product costing
  • Participate in Annual Costing with collaboration across different functions across Vestas
  • Support other activities necessary to achieve the organization's vision of business transformation
  • Ensure compliance with Financial Standards, SOX, and other regulations
  • Participate in related projects, e.g. accounting centralization initiatives, Lean Six Sigma projects, etc.

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or Management Accounting or any Finance courses
  • Fluent in English - oral and written
  • At least 1-3 years of work experience in Controlling & Reporting or any finance functions (preferably with standard costing and transfer price background)
  • With knowledge and experience relevant to financial analysis such as cost and variance analysis
  • With BPO/Shared Service experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of using ERP (SAP) systems (preferred)

 

Competencies

  • Has a good finance, audit, or accounting background
  • Knowledgeable in process documentation, simplification, and standardization
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software, also with skills and experience in Macro and automation tools
  • Working knowledge in using ERP (SAP) systems (preferred)
  • Good in communication and knowledge of stakeholder management
  • Preferably with experience in transition and quick to be responsive
  • Good proficiency in the English language in both written and oral communication
