The department is mainly tasked to deliver valuable insights to the business through scalable, reliable, and consistent financial controlling to improve performance and decision making across the value chain. We are also in charge of ensuring accurate and timely periodic reporting and includes ensuring compliance with the Company's financial guidelines balancing with managing business performance and engaging with relevant business stakeholders - both finance and non-finance operations. We also act as business partner for regional, business unit/segment, or group stakeholders and make sure that the financial activities driven decisions are taken on a good financial business case which can and wll be followed upon.
The group is consist of various teams supporting Vestas' value chain which includes financial BPM controllers in the region and in SSC - from Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Project Execution (CPX previously construction), Service, Development, Research & Development, transport, tools, group / headquarters finance (Transfer pricing, Group reporting, Real Estate & Facility Management, Digital Solutions, and Financial Planning & Analysis, and Product costing & analytics.

Responsibilities:
- Supports Regional Business Finance with accurate and timely execution of weekly and monthly reports related to inventory valuation, cost of poor quality, manufacturing FCC and IPCs, calculation of obsolete stock and IPC allocation etc
- Performs month‑end close (MEND) activities, including basic settlement run, weighted average cost inventory analysis, production variance review, calculation of obsolete stock and IPC allocation and proposed accruals or manual adjusting entries, if needed, in full compliance with Vestas Financial Guidelines and ensure that applicable controls are in place
- Performs accurate and timely execution of audit requirements
- Communicate any issues, discrepancies, or delays to the team and relevant stakeholders, and assist with resolving them
- Maintain proper documentation of reports, processes, and work instructions to support process knowledge transfers and audit requirements
- Support in identifying and developing improvement on current tasks, and participate in Global optimization projects (if any)
- Support adhoc reports based on business needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related area.
- At least 1-3 years of relevant working experience in finance particularly Business Controlling, Financial Analysis, or any equivalent finance functions
- Good communication skills particluarly in English language - both oral and written and able to communicate insights to stakeholders and team members
- Proficient in Microsft Office applications i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, Word. Knowledge in using ERP system. Experience in SAP
- Possess analytical skills relevant for financial analysis i.e. variance analysis, formulating basic insights, and linking to finance and with curious growth and continuous improvement and learning mindset
- Flexible in work shift schedule depending on the region catered and willing to extend during month-end close, as needed. Experience in a shared service setup is desired
- Works well with others and self-starter with a motivated mindset; capable of handling new situations in a complex, a demanding and a fast-paced environment
- With experience in inventory accounting, project accounting, revenue & cost controlling and reporting insights is desired.
Competencies:
- Has basic understanding of finance and accounting concepts with background on financial analysis, reconciliation, accruals or cost allocations
- Attention to detail to ensure timely and accurate execution of reports and manual adjusting entries
- Knowledgeable in process documentation, simplification and standardization
- Proficient in using Microsoft office software
- Knowledge in using ERP (SAP) systems
- Basic communication, stakeholder management and business partnering
- Has continuous improvement mindset in terms of process and continuously aspire for professional growth
