Finance SSC - Business Controlling & Reporting
The department's main responsibility is to provide valuable insights to the business through scalable, reliable, and consistent financial controls that enhance performance and inform decision-making across the value chain. We are also in charge of ensuring accurate and timely periodic reporting, including compliance with the Company's financial guidelines, balancing business performance, and engaging with relevant business stakeholders across finance and non-finance operations. We also act as business partners for regional, business unit/segment, or group stakeholders and make sure that the financial activities-driven decisions are taken on a good financial business case, which can and will be followed up on.
The group is consist of various teams supporting Vestas' value chain which includes financial BPM controllers in the region and in SSC - from Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Project Execution (CPX previously construction), Service, Development, Research & Development, transport, tools, group/headquarters finance (Transfer pricing, Group reporting, Real etate & Facility Management, Digital Solutions, and Financial Planning & Analysis, and Product costing & analytics.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for complex accounting and financial analysis
- Prepares reports efficiently and effectively, utilizing advanced technicaland financial knowledge
- Prepares and reviews complex standards and responds to adhoc request for analytics and to provide support for business profitability, case preparation, and investigation into financial performance, and are key in enabling decision support
- Ensuring that management reporting for actuals, budgets/forecasts, controls, inventory reconciliation processes, and accrual management is in place and is working in preparation for SOX compliance and internal and external reporting readiness
- Responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining efficient and cost-effective process controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related area
- Certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIA)
- At least 1 to 4 years of work experience in Controlling & Reporting or any equivalent finance functions
- With well-developed analytical skills applicable to financial analysis
- Performs with minimal supervision, demonstrates initiative, and learns rapidly in demanding, fast-evolving work scenarios
- Knowledge in using the ERP System. SAP experience
- Experience in project construction or manufacturing accounting
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Flexible in work shifting schedules
Competencies
- Has a good finance, audit, and accounting background
- Knows accounting guidelines and principles such as IAS and GAAP
- Knowledgeable in process documentation, simplification, and standardization
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software
- Knowledge in using ERP (SAP) systems
- Skilled at communicating clearly, managing stakeholders, and collaborating as a trusted business partner
