Finance SSC, Controlling & Reporting. The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Company's Financial Guidelines while securing active engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project or Group stakeholders and make sure that the financial activities-driven decisions are taken on a good financial business case which can and will be followed upon.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high integrity in our numbers by having accurate figures in the factory report and a high-quality budget based on well-documented assumptions
  • Ensure that there is high accuracy and stability in our forecast, where all changes and deviations are explained by the underlying business drivers. A value-adding Business Partner to the COO Area, and ensure a fact-based, root cause-driven performance reporting
  • Perform ad hoc reports based on business needs
  • Execute the relevant controlling tasks fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Financial Guidelines, and make sure controls and applicable compliance requirements are in place
  • Ensure timely update/s of Process Documentation (SOP)
  • Perform Controls and Compliance activities
  • Identify, suggest, and implement improvements on current tasks, and participate in Global optimization projects
  • Closely engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality. Propose adjustments as necessary

 

Qualifications

  • A graduate of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, or any Finance or Business-related courses. Certifications are beneficial (i.e., CPA, CMA, CIA, etc.)
  • 5-7 years of experience in a general accounting background, controlling and reporting function role, or a relevant role
  • Exposure to BPO / Shared service environment
  • Experience in working with multi-cultural stakeholders
  • With knowledge in using ERP (SAP) systems
  • Advanced analytical and presentation skills
  • Business Partnering experience

 

Competencies

  • High-level experience in (1) Controlling Actual Financials, (2) Forecasting or Budgeting
  • With high-level and specific knowledge of accounting concepts and solid analytical skills relevant in financial analysis.Ability to develop financial projections and build financial models
  • Efficient documentation and process mapping experience
  • Takes initiative and has a motivated attitude; keen to learn in a complex, busy environment
  • Knowledge in using the ERP System. Experience in SAP and SAP-BI
  • Advanced-level MS Office user. Macros knowledge is beneficial
  • Skilled in presentation, communication, stakeholder management and business partnering, including communicating numbers and data to non-financial people
