You will be part of the Datacenter & Cloud Engineering and Services team (DCES), who are responsible for Vestas Cloud platforms.
Vestas Digital Solutions is responsible for a wide range of activities all related to driving and promoting the digital agenda. The DCES team accelerates digital product development by providing enterprise-ready cloud platforms, one of which is the Vestas Cloud platform.

Responsibilities
In your position as a DevOps Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to:
- Work in our "Vestas Kubernetes Service" based on Azure and on-premise environment, driving maturity of platform services via implementing software development practices
- Design and present platform architecture for projects that you participate in
- Collaborating and aligning with other engineers and stakeholders to identify and address technical challenges and opportunities, and ensure that our platforms live up to our business needs and goals
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate tools and technologies for use in our infrastructure, including cloud computing platforms, version control systems, automation tools, and monitoring and logging tools
- Integrating selected tools and technologies into our infrastructure and supporting their use by our development and operations teams
- Derive Platform needs from business dialogues
- Contribute to Platform roadmap and contribute to improving capabilities within the area
- Deliver on automatically build commits, run tests, deploy to environments
- Provide feedback regarding development or engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices
- Maintain and spread the DevOps culture and ways of working across Vestas
Qualifications
You have:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Significant experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki
- Significant experience with Golang or a similar general-purpose programming language, ideally strongly typed
- Knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices, such as version control using Git
- Experience with Agile ways of working and experience with Microsoft Azure working in a DevOps team structure
- An enthusiasm about Linux, open source, and Cloud Native Tools
- Coding knowledge for automation of infrastructure (experience with Terraform and Pulumi or similar declarative and idempotent approach is advantageous)
- Basic understanding of distributed systems and container orchestrators such as Kubernetes
Competencies
Working in our Cloud Capability Center naturally requires a solid technical understanding of Azure Cloud. However, a good understanding of on-premises
datacenter technologies are also beneficial as many cloud workloads are and will continue to be hybrid and integrate with on-premises solutions. On a personal level, we expect that you have/are:
