Test Automation Engineer

Vestas is investing heavily in software test automation and is building a software test automation core team. The team will structured and operate our test automation platforms as well as support project and product teams in building test automation into IT solutions.

Responsibilities

As test automation engineer you will impact test automation on our enterprise platforms and support to ensure that we prioritize the most valuable test automation improvement initiatives. Specifically, you will:

• We need a qualified test automation engineer for the test automation core team, who will be the technical expert for test automation development
• Work with test automation across enterprise platforms such as SAP, SalesForce, PTC, etc
• Work with teat automation tools such as Tosca, Postman, Selenium, Appium, etc
• Operate test automation platforms and ensure the usability, stability, performance, and security of these
• Support project, product, and operations teams in building test automation into their quality assurance frameworks
• Actively seek, evaluate, and apply latest trends within automated software testing

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of software test automation experience and a relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
• Engineering or similar. More specifically the right candidate must possess the following qualifications

       High proficiency level:

• Test automation platforms such as Tosca, Selenium, etc
•  Automated System, Integration, Component test engineering

       Medium proficiency level:

• Test plans, test case and test automation in Azure DevOps
• Appium and other mobile app automation platforms
• Automated build and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, Jenkins and other build tools
• Test data management

       Experience with at least one of the following areas

• SAP Solution Manager
• GIT

Competencies

• Fluent in English both orally and written. CEFR Level B2 (work in English speaking office)
• Ability to identify possible areas of improvement - and to promote the following change

• Motivator with a positive spirit
• Be open to receive feedback and act upon it
• Up to date with the latest test automation trends, techniques, and technologies
