The Configuration & Development role has a broad knowledge base covering configuration and development on the ServiceNow platform. 

The Configuration & Development role will work closely with our architects, SMEs, supporters, as well as external vendors to ensure top-of-class solutions for Vestas.  

With your broad and deep knowledge and your holistic view of the data model, you can make complex solutions into simple, strict, and clean code or suggest the best alternative way forward.

Responsibilities

  • Direct work covering designing, developing, configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions for the ServiceNow platform
  • Work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Collaborate on medium-to-large scale projects with minimal supervision
  • Create technical documentation, including design, security, accreditation documentation
  • Communicate with clients, analyze business needs, problem-solving, and develop solutions from scratch
  • Work with business users to understand requirements and translate them to technical specifications
  • Develop test cases for functional, regression testing, UAT, resolution of reported defects and perform integration testing with sample and live data
  • Initiate and supervise efforts to perform root cause analysis and remediation for integration, system, reporting, and data issues
  • Support the ServiceNow version upgrade process


Qualifications

  • Degree in IT and Business or similar education
  • Background as a developer in a large company or from an implementation partner with broad and deep experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with ServiceNow development
  • Technical solutions architecture and Project management experience
  • Worked with Western customers in at least 2 other ServiceNow Installations
  • Fluent in English both written and oral
  • Advanced Admin
  • Application developer

  • IntegrationHub
  • Integrations via REST
  • JavaScript
  • Flow designer/editor
  • Deep understanding of the ServiceNow data model

      Ideally, experience with more of the following areas:

  • ITSM Pro
  • Integration hub enterprise spokes 
  • HR Service delivery Pro
  • Workplace Service delivery
  • Security operations (SIR)
  • Vulnerability response (VR)
  • App Engine
  • ATF
