Our new ServiceNow Integrations and Automation Engineer will be essential for us in achieving goals in our mission to build a high-quality ServiceNow team. The right person will have broad and deep knowledge of how to structure, govern, architect, set up, maintain and document integrations and automation solutions. Our new Integration and Automation Engineer will work closely with our architects and SMEs as well as external vendors to ensure top-of-class integrations and automation solutions for Vestas.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Integration/automation
  • Designing, developing, configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions for the ServiceNow platform
  • Handling multiple projects at the same time
  • Collaborating on medium-to-large scale projects with minimal supervision
  • Creating technical documentation, including design and governance documentation
  • Identify the Integration/automation-related opportunities throughout the organization
  • Be part of the design process for automation solutions to include hardware platforms, services, and operation systems
  • Communicating with clients, evaluating business needs, using problem-solving skills, and developing solutions from scratch
  • Working with business users to understand requirements and translate them to technical specifications
  • Develop test cases ensuring that we are in control of every aspect of our integration/automation solutions
  • Resolution of reported defects and perform integration testing with sample and live data
  • Performing root cause analysis and remediation for integration, system, reporting, and data issues
  • Support the version upgrade process
  • Work in a collaborative development environment
  • Aid and technical guidance to less experienced team members


  • Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent
  • Highly IT literate (IT drivers)
  • Fluent in English oral and written
  • You may come with a background from an implementation partner or developer in a large company with broad and deep experience within integration/automation
  • A minimum of (3) years of experience with ServiceNow development
  • Technical solutions architecture and Project management experience
  • Worked with Western customers in at least 2 other ServiceNow Installations
  • Fluent in English both written and oral
  • Solid communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Professional coding skills
  • Professional troubleshooting skills
  • High-quality scripting skills: JavaScript, PowerShell
  • The ability to learn API interfaces for various 3rd party applications
  • Experience with puppet, terraform, GitLab, VMware, Azure, SQL Server

       A deep understanding and experience within the following:

  • Automation experience with ServiceNow implementations in a SaaS environment
  • Deep understanding of ITSM and the CMDB/CSDM
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking including TCP/IP ports and firewalls, network
  • protocols, and IP networks
  • IntegrationHub
  • Integrations via REST/Web Services
  • JavaScript
  • Flow designer/editor
  • Expert in web technologies REST / SOAP frameworks

       Ideally, experience with at least one of the following areas: 

  • ITSM Pro 
  • Integration hub enterprise spokes  
  • HR Service delivery Pro 
  • Workplace Service delivery 
  • Security operations (SIR) 
  • Vulnerability response (VR) 
  • App Engine 
  • ATF

You will be working together with vendors, architects, Service Delivery Managers and Subject Matter Expert colleagues in other departments within Operations and Support and you will be involved in the implementation, adoption, and optimization of key services to Vestas end-users. Furthermore, you will get the chance to engage with a large array of stakeholders also outside Vestas Global IT.
