Senior Finance Analyst

Finance SSC, Controlling & Reporting. The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Company's Financial Guidelines while securing engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project or Group stakeholders and makes sure that the financial activities decisions are taken on a good financial business case which can and will be followed upon.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for complex accounting and financial analysis. Prepares reports efficiently and effectively utilizing advanced technical financial knowledge
  • Prepares and reviews complex standard and respond to an ad-hoc request for analytics and to provide support for business profitability, case preparation and investigation into financial performance and are key in enabling decision support
  • Ensuring that management reporting for actuals, budgets/forecast, controls, inventory reconciliation processes and accrual management is in place and is working in preparation for SOX compliance and internal and external reporting readiness
  • Responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining efficient and cost-effective processes controls

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in any Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related area
  • At least 5 - 8 years of work experience in Controlling & Reporting or equivalent finance function
  • With established skills relevant to financial analysis
  • A self-starter and having a can-do attitude and a quick learner in a complex growing environment 
  • Knowledge in using ERP system and experience in SAP
  • Experience in project construction or manufacturing accounting
  • Good communication and presentation skills

 

Competencies

  • Exposure to data quality management and keen on accounting details, MEND (Month End Close) reconciliation and data analysis. Mend reporting and issue management
  • Knowledge in Accounting Estimates and Revenue Recognition particularly Completed Construction Method (CCM) and Percentage of Completion Method (POC)
  • Is an advanced-level MS Excel user and Macros
  • Efficient documentation and process mapping experience
