Vestas Financial Compliance, a team under Vestas Group Finance, is in Copenhagen. Financial Compliance is responsible for the design, testing of operating effectiveness, monitoring, and reporting on internal controls to ensure that Vestas Financial Statement is free of material misstatement


As our new Financial Compliance Specialist, you will be located in Manila, Philippines, in Vestas Shared Service Center, but will be a part of the Financial Compliance team which is located in Copenhagen. You will be working closely with the Shared Service Compliance team and exposed to Vestas global stakeholders

Financial Compliance Specialist - Group Finance


Specifically, you will be involved in the following activities:

  • Enhance policies, procedures and internal controls to address process deficiencies identified from investigations and control testing

  • Maintain and develop Vestas Internal Control Framework in close collaboration with Vestas Regions and Shared Service Center

  • Facilitate remediation of control deficiencies

  • Develop and support data analytics for financial risk assessment, financial compliance reviews, etc.

  • Support and direct activities within SAP Process Control: controls rating, dashboards, control optimization and automation, etc.

  • Provide financial compliance guidance and financial controls training to the organization

  • Direct and participate in visits to entities to test internal controls

  • Other ad-hoc financial compliance activities (e.g. supporting entities with external audit activities, compliance assessment with internal policies and procedures, etc.)



We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic person who has:

  • Degree in Business administration, Auditing or Finance

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience from audit firms combined with industry experience in financial compliance, internal controls, or internal audit

  • SAP knowledge

  • Good communication skills and fluency in English is a requirement
