Finance SSC, Controlling & Reporting. The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Company's Financial Guidelines while securing focused engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project or Group stakeholders and makes sure that the financial activities’ great decisions are taken on a good financial business case which can and will be followed upon.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the annual budgeting process and consolidate for submission
  • Perform financial validations of ASP Construction strategies
  • Identify, evaluate, and relate business demands and design business cases
  • Provide analysis for monthly/quarterly P&L performance results and deviations
  • Update and maintain the financial risks & opportunities bridge for the region
  • Guide quarterly end meetings to identify gaps (or closure of gaps) to forecast
  • Provide financial insight and recommendations to ASP strategic initiatives
  • Delivery of recurring management reports on financials
  • Align priorities, planning and actions to overall business goals
  • Involve business stakeholders and share/communicate knowledge & innovation

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management or any relevant course
  • At least 5-8 years of work experience in Controlling & Reporting or equivalent finance function
  • With qualified innovative skills relevant to financial analysis
  • Knowledge of using ERP systems. Experience in SAP
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
  • Flexible in work shifting schedules
  • Self-motivated and with a solid Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Experience in the transition of new roles and tasks

 

Competencies

  • Exposure to data quality management and keen on accounting details, MEND (Month End Close) reconciliation and data analysis. Mend reporting and issue management
  • Knowledge in Accounting Estimates and Revenue Recognition particularly Completed Construction Method (CCM) and Percentage of Completion Method (POC)
  • Has good finance, audit or accounting background
  • Has knowledge of accounting guidelines and principles such as IAS and GAAP
  • Should be an advanced-level MS Excel user - Macros
  • Efficient documentation and process mapping experience
  • Good in communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering
