The Controlling and Reporting Roles act as Business Partners and Controllers of the business. It could be under the different segments of the Vestas Value Chain (Vestas Power Solution; Development entities; Manufacturing; Costing and Inventory; Sales, Service, and Construction; Group Finance - Group Reporting, Group Tax, other relevant functions, etc.). The activities usually involve reporting and analysis in relation to Operation, Financial Budgeting and Financial Reporting. It also involves monthly activities that could have an impact directly or indirectly on financials and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high integrity in our numbers by having accurate figures in the reports and a high-quality budget based on well-documented assumptions
  • Ensure that there is high accuracy and stability in our forecast where all changes and deviations are explained by the underlying business drivers
  • A value adding Business Partners to specific business areas and ensuring a fact-based root cause-focused performance reporting
  • Perform ad-hoc reports based on business needs
  • Implement the relevant controlling tasks fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Financial Guidelines; and make sure controls and applicable compliance requirements are in place
  • Ensure timely update/s of Process Documentation (SOP)
  • Perform Controls and Compliance activities
  • Identify, suggest, and implement improvement on current tasks, and participate in Global optimization projects
  • Proactively engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders, to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality. Propose adjustments as necessary

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or Management Accounting or any Finance or Business-related courses
  • 5-7 years of experience in general accounting background preferably controlling and reporting function role or from a relevant role particularly revenue, cost, and P&L controlling and analysis
  • Exposure to Shared service environment
  • Experience in working with multi-cultural stakeholders
  • With knowledge of using ERP (SAP) systems
  • Advanced analytical and presentation skills
  • Business Partnering experience is necessary

 

Competencies

  • High-level experience in (1) Controlling Actual Financials (2) Forecasting or Budgeting
  • With a high level and specific knowledge of Accounting concepts and strong analytical skills relevant to financial analysis
  • Ability to develop financial projections and build financial models
  • Efficient documentation and process mapping experience
  • Takes charge effortlessly and learns rapidly when faced with complex tasks under high pressure and swift-changing work conditions
  • Knowledge of using ERP Systems. Experience in SAP and SAP-BI is required
  • Should be an advanced-level MS Office user. Macros is an added advantage
  • Excellent in presentation, communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering, including communicating numbers and data to non-financial people
