SAP Ariba Analyst

The Digital Procurement & Supply Chain Planning team is part of the Digital Business Transformation area in Digital Solutions. We engage with Business Unit teams to co-create cohesive digital strategy and solutions to empower Vestas for efficient scalability. We work to ensure best practices and align development towards one digital strategy for Vestas. We ensure the delivery, implementation, and assessment of desired outcomes of relevant changes in close partnership with BUs and regional teams. We are moving to a new operating model by setting up in-house led digital product teams responsible for designing, building, and continuously optimizing our digital products.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for supporting the SAP Ariba Cloud solution within the Procure to Pay process - mainly on SAP Ariba Business Network and Supply Chain Collaboration

• Understanding the integration between Ariba and SAP ECC Materials Management to Finance, and Accounts Payable/Vendor Invoice Management modules

• Good understanding of procuring to pay, source to contract, category management, supply chain planning, and vendor management best practices

• Liaison between users and suppliers

• Reviews and evaluates existing and proposed systems, solutions, and business processes and devises or modifies processes and procedures for solving business problems by providing recommendations for process and technology solution improvements

• Troubleshoots complex integrated issues and can resolve issues within time-sensitive deadlines

• Designs Ariba reports and dashboards to provide better visibility into key business processes

• Develops tests for SAP Ariba modules, components, and sub-components, performing post-implementation analysis throughout the system landscape to ensure accuracy in areas affected by system development

• Evaluate new updates released by SAP Ariba

• Provides support to at least one functional area, component, and sub-component of SAP Ariba

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Ariba P2P, Guided Buying, Ariba Network (supplier and buyer side), and Supply Chain Collaboration and will also have an in-depth understanding of integration with downstream systems and supporting model

• Deep understanding of SAP Ariba from a configuration standpoint

• Working knowledge of systems integration points for SAP Ariba

• Significant data analysis and process mapping skills

• Good interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of stakeholders in a global organization

Competencies

• Significant problem-solving skills

• Proficient in MS Office

• Ability to facilitate communication between business, external vendors, technical teams
