As part of Vestas Global Finance Shared Service Centre, the role is primarily responsible for providing standardized, rule-based services to the region. This refers to the end-to-end processes of Accounts Receivable. Accountant actively works with Regional Finance and other SSC functional areas to ensure issues and concerns are addressed positively and in accordance with prescribed deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high sales order creation and cash application accuracy, productivity, and SLA adherence, including support for month-end and quarter-end close
  • Deliver assigned transaction volumes within agreed capacity to support throughput, efficiency, and service targets
  • Implement and execute Global Allocation across Sales Order and Cash Application, ensuring balanced workload and SLA compliance
  • Escalate Global Allocation challenges and propose prioritization and volume allocation strategies during peak or constrained periods
  • Ensure KPIs are updated daily, document results monthly, and perform RCA for performance, quality, or SLA gaps
  • Support continuous improvement through process simplification, standardization, and efficiency initiatives
  • Comply with SAP GRC controls, SOPs, and audit requirements; support Team Lead in VICF review and improvement
  • Identify and address control gaps or inefficiencies; propose enhancements to improve audit readiness
  • Support targeted refresher training for high-risk or low-passing exam areas
  • Adhere to the approved leave threshold (≤25% daily absence) and maintain high standards of attendance, performance, and professional conduct
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Send dunning reminders and collection notices to clients
  • Coordinate with clients regarding payment schedules and discrepancies
  • Prepare reports for management on collection performance and unpaid balances
  • Provide a proposal for write-off

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related finance course
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Order to Cash processes, with experience in Sales Order & Cash Application
  • SAP knowledge and proficiency in MS Office
  • Solid problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills in English
  • Willing to work on holidays and flexible to business needs
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates a professional demeanor, professionalism, and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Willing to work onsite at least three (3) days per week under a hybrid setup
