Vestas SSC provides processing services to Vestas businesses around the world, mainly in Finance & Accounting, Master Data Management, Procurement, Global Service Support Center and Remote Operations Center.
The team is under Global Finance of Vestas Shared Services Centre. As part of Vestas Global Finance Shared Service Centre, the team is primarily responsible in providing standardized, rule-based services to the region. This refers to the end-to-end processes of fixed assets. The group is expected to have close collaboration with Regional Finance, Payroll &Treasury Department as well as with the other functions in SSC such as AP/AR/TE & Controlling and Reporting.
SSC>Finance SSC>Fixed Assets & Global Intercompany
Responsibilities:
- Participate in further improvement and optimization of end-to-end Fixed Asset Accounting processes and procedures in Finance and Accounting (Investment order creation, Capitalization, Settlements, Depreciation & Asset Roll forward)
- Execute the relevant finance processing of Fixed Assets fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Standard Operating Procedures and in accordance with Vestas Financial Guidelines.• Consistently engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues (i.e., AP/ AR/TE, Controlling and Reporting) and business stakeholders (i.e., Regional Finance, Payroll & Treasury), in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality
- Prepare and submit SOX control documentations timely and accurately
- Consistently follow-up on pending items/issue
- Prepare deck and participate on MOR calls
- Support internal/external audit on handled and back-up entities
- Provide back-up support if needed
- Participate on process improvements, and UAT for projects, NM, SPV's, etc
- Performs Adhoc tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- With a solid background in Fixed assets, General Ledger functions, Reporting or Controlling
- With at least 1.5 to 4 years of working experience in the same field
- With BPO or Shared Service experience
Competencies:
- Preferably but not required white belt trained or with knowledge in process improvement methodologies
- With good communication skills
- Problem solving-oriented
- Demonstrates an effective ability to handle one's own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives
- Can manage workload effectively with limited oversight
- With knowledge in using ERP systems
- Willing to work on holidays as needed and available for any shift that may be assigned
- Willing to travel
- With a professional demeanor and attitude. Can blend well to different kind of personalities
