Vestas Factory

 

The team is under Global Finance of Vestas Shared Services Centre. General Ledger is mainly responsible for month end/quarter end/year end closing of the company's financial records, Statutory reporting and SOX Compliance documentation. The group is expected to have close collaboration with regional finance, payroll & treasury department as well as with the other functions in SSC such as AP/AR/TE & Controlling and Reporting.

 

SSC > Finance SSC>General Ledger and Cash Management

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • General Ledger is mainly responsible for Month End/Quarter End/Year End closing of the company's financial records
  • Execute the relevant finance processing of General Ledger fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Standard Operating Procedures
  • Closely engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues (i.e., AP/ AR/TE, Controlling and Reporting) and business stakeholders (i.e., Regional Finance, Payroll & Treasury), in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality
  • Performed analytical review to ensure KPIs and PPIs for the specific function assigned were met
  • Assist in developing training plans and knowledge sharing within the team

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy
  • With solid background in General Ledger functions, Reporting or Controlling- With at least 2-5 years of working experience in the same field
  • With BPO or SSC experience
  • Have knowledge of process improvement methodologies
  • Preferably with certifications (i.e. CPA, CMA, CIA etc.) but not required

 

Competencies:

 

  • With good communication skills both oral and written.
  • Problem solving-oriented
  • Willing to work on holidays as needed and on any shift as may be assigned.
  • With professional conduct and a cooperative attitude. Can blend well to different kind of personalities
  • With knowledge in using ERP systems
