The Services Department is responsible for ensuring the operation of our customers' wind farms, guaranteeing the optimal performance of each turbine throughout its entire lifecycle. Its role is to ensure that the turbines operate at full capacity, delivering the highest energy production for our customers. It plays a key part in maintaining long-term customer loyalty.

As part of the Services Department, the Special Projects team delivers solutions to address situations we may have never encountered before - large-scale, complex, high-risk, and high-impact challenges for the business. It is the team that faces the unknown, bringing structure and solutions to the issues we encounter. Our department confidently takes on projects of varying complexity, risk, and cost.

 

Responsabilites: 

During the planning phase, provide precise technical inputs to the Planning team, including estimated MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), required manpower profiles, repair methodologies, and specifications of tools, consumables, and materials needed for blade interventions.
Assess and prioritize blade damage repairs based on recommendations from Blade Engineering, considering safety impact, performance degradation, and operational risk.
Deliver first-line expert technical support to Service teams, including external subcontractors, ensuring consistent application of repair standards across internal and outsourced resources.
Collaborate closely with global technical counterparts across the organization to exchange best practices and jointly resolve complex blade-related technical challenges.
Validate and configure blade work instructions and parameter settings for each wind farm, ensuring alignment with turbine models, site-specific conditions, and OEM guidelines.
When required, identify appropriate spare parts, repair kits, and technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, or WIs) to support field execution.
Perform on-site guidance, mentoring, and quality control during blade inspections and repairs, ensuring workmanship meets internal and industry standards.
Ensure all repair activities are executed in full compliance with safety regulations, engineering specifications, and approved work instructions.
Document all repair actions thoroughly and upload required records, reports, and imagery into CIR (Component Report Platform) or equivalent systems.
Upon request from Service, participate in client-facing discussions to support resolution of technical issues, increasing customer satisfaction and reinforcing service credibility.
Provide technical assessments and arguments to the Sales team when preparing proposals for blade repair services or corrective campaigns.
Proactively capture field learnings and recurring failure modes, converting insights into actionable improvements for processes, documentation, and product reliability.

 

Qualifications: 

Technical education such as Electrical or Mechanical
An engineering background would be beneficial
Experience in the field of blade repair
Advanced PC skills - SAP, Microsoft Office
Good knowledge of composites
Good communication skills in English, both oral and in writing

Competencies: 

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks;
Ability to work both with limited supervision and as a part of the team
Good pragmatical and problem-solving skills
Affinity to work within different systems to identify root cause and document solutions
High attention to detail and a solid commitment to quality
