In this role you will be part of the localized Blades planning team, working closely with the blade team to provide technical planning support, schedule repair and inspection campaigns, determine resources needed (Vestas technicians, subcontractor, materials and tools) for implementation or quotation purposes, determine repair strategy in alignment with the blades engineering team, follow up on the planning of the activity and finally track the execution and reporting process, this position will act as supervisor for the blade technicians in the region applicable and have close contact with the Operations and Comercial team to follow up the different work fronts open at the time and would also function as a link between technological/ engineering departments and operative teams.


In doing this you will be able to utilize your high-quality planning, organizational and communication skills to develop better strategies to support regionally. Separately, you will remain heavily involved in interactions with the Blades team for knowledge sharing, project rollouts and other key initiatives. You will utilize your knowledge & interaction with the team to determine & deliver effective solutions for all service tasks and projects



Technical education as Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or similar

+2 year experience within the wind power business with mechanical systems and e.g. the blade as main working area, will be a requirement

Experience on growing projects will be highly valued

Proficient in English and Spanish both written and verbal

If you come with service operation knowledge and a good understanding of the commercial value set of the service business where balancing of product quality, lifetime and customer needs are always vital, it will highly value

Experience on organizing and handling sub-contractors and sub suppliers

Experience from larger organizations



Facility to coordinate a team remotely

Intermediate MS Office, particularly Excel

Knowledge in the use of SAP

Ability to work in pressure/time-critical environment

Able to deal professionally with all relevant stakeholders. (technical teams, operational management, commercial team, and customers)

Good commitment to safety and a safe working environment

Willingness to travel
