The MED Technical Sales and Project Solutions (TS&PS) Department is a key function within Vestas Technology & Operations (VTO), sponsible for understanding market-specific technical and operational requirements across the Mediterranean region. The department enables customer value by delivering timely, value-engineered solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle, from early sales engagement and project development to construction, commissioning, and operational support. You will work with our commercial Sales group, our customers as well as central engineering functions, to deliver the best possible technical solutions for our customers, targeting exponential growth in the onshore and offshore wind segment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the French Sales Team, own accountability for the technical solution, and collaborate with other functions to define the most effective option during the sales and construction phases
- Effectively supervise the technical value engineering of customer projects and direct technical negotiations as an active member of the French team- Ensure timely responses to customer enquiries, prepare clarifications and deviations to tenders, as well as technical annexes and contract schedules during contract negotiations
- You will need to network to build relationships with the key technical people in your customers' organization, promoting their requirements inside Vestas and ensuring they prefer to use Vestas
- Understanding of the market, customer business cases and sales perspective in general; track of the local rules and legislation and participate in working groups where required to define the right set of market requirements
Qualifications
- Engineering background (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or related) combined with commercial insight/interest and/or energy industry project management experience.
- 3+ years’ work experience in technical role in Wind Industry or Energy sector, heavy machinery, power plant equipment or similar. - More important than formal education is the willingness and motivation to learn. This is a role that requires technical, commercial, and policy knowledge
- Fluency in business English and French is a must, both spoken and written (when applying please kindly send your resume in English)

- Customer focus, with a holistic understanding of how technical solutions impact a business case commercially and contractually.
