Noise Specialist - Paris

Specialist | Full-Time | Engineering 

Lifecycle Engineering (LCE) is a department responsible to provide Engineering solutions to Service and Construction at MED level. The team is currently spread around the Mediterranean area (including some MENA Countries), East Europe and Africa (South Africa, Kenia, Egypt, Marrocco and Senegal).

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales support on defining noise modes for new and existing products.
• Optimize noise strategies for new and existing wind farms.
• Coordination of Noise Field Measuring Campaign. Technical responsible with external consultants and customers.
• Act as a liaison between Service Vestas and VPS / R&D department Vestas wind system A/S
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.
• Create and deliver technical presentations to internal and external customers

Qualifications

• Experience (5years +) in wind turbine noise related technical work.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar;
• English language written and spoken Skills

Competencies

• Problem Solving , Results Orientation and Communication
• Proficient technical skills with emphasis in problem solving
• Proficient in balancing responsibilities and setting priorities effectively even when faced with stringent deadlines
• Good communication and presentation skills
