HSE Administrator 
NZ, Palmerston North | Professional | Full-Time | ID: 5573

In this role, you’ll based at Turitea WF where you'll play an important part in the coordination of Q/HSE training of all site-based personnel including reviewing and assisting in the compilation of JSEA’s, work instructions (SWMS). The purpose of this role is to ensure HSE system documents are maintained up to date. You will also be responsible for conducting Safety Checks and Inspections on site and making sure that Vestas documentation requirements and obligations are always met.

  • Participate in site Pre-start, Toolbox and HSE Committee meetings and assist in the Management of Subcontractor Safety
  • Participate in audits of internal systems amd Inspections of plant, equipment and tools
  • Provide input into HSE reporting requirements and maintain a good working relationship with onsite client’s HSE advisor and/or Health & Safety Representatives (if applicable)
  • Assist in ensuring all work carried out is in compliance with project Quality, Environment and Health & Safety requirements and in accordance with Vestas policy and project objectives and targets.
  • Assist in ensuring all work carried out is in compliance with Quality and Site Safety requirements at all times
  • Support the National QSE Professional with the implementation and rollout of National HSE improvements and initiatives




  • Level 4 Health and Safety Certificate or higher




  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in QSE or similar preferably within the Building and Construction industry
  • Understanding of HSE management systems and certification process
  • Advanced understanding of software programs that support HSE
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills, within professional service provider environment
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong commitment to Quality and excellent time management & reporting skills
